Partners and founders of design office Industrial Facility in London, Sam Hecht and Kim Colin are known for a minimal, no-nonsense approach that reflects meticulous attention to detail and careful consideration of context. The duo has designed products for clients around the globe, including Emeco, Herman Miller, Louis Vuitton, Yamaha and others. Their Run Collection (2016) was developed to facilitate gathering and collaborating, with Emecos current selection in mind. In its creators own words, Run is shaped to acknowledge the benefits of being around others, so tables are welcoming and useful, made to work purposefully well with many of Emecos existing chairs and stools, including the original 1006 Navy Chair. Its equally at home in both indoor and outdoor locations for dining, meeting, learning, sharing and working. Engineered to last for decades and constructed of responsibly selected materials, Run meets ANSI/BIFMA furniture sustainability standards that qualify it to earn LEED credits.
