In the first half of the twentieth century, Danish architects attempted to address the issue of glare inherent in electric light. In their Barron family, we apply the solution they came up withlayered, curved shadesto light fixtures with a floral bent. A finely textured black on the outside and a metal finish on the inside, Barrons shades are a visual delight in person. Opal-etched diffusers nested in pairs within each shade further soften and diffuse the light.
