In 1991, Gunnar Cyrn designed the Nobel beer glass for the 90th anniversary of the Nobel Prize. This elegant glass, which holds 12.5 oz, is made of crystal with hand-painted details in real 22-karat gold. To this day, Nobel Prize-winners and royalty use the beer glass from the Orrefors Nobel collection every December at Stockholm City Hall.
